About the App

Train Deploy is a turn-based simulation game set on Tokyo-area rail lines from 1993 to 2035. You manage fleet assignments across routes — retiring aging cars, transferring surplus stock, and procuring new vehicles — while keeping each line's operational requirements and technology standards met.

FAQ

Q. Where is my save data stored?
Your progress is saved automatically on your device. Tap "Continue" on the title screen to resume where you left off.
Q. What is the difference between Normal and Trainee mode?
Trainee mode covers only 4 lines (Yamanote, Keihin-Tohoku, Chuo-Sobu Local, and Saikyo) and includes a tutorial. It is recommended for first-time players. Normal mode covers all 13 lines.
Q. What are manufacturing slots?
Manufacturing slots limit how many new cars you can procure each quarter (maximum 8). The counter resets every turn. Transfers, retirements, and life-extension work do not consume slots.
Q. My reputation keeps dropping. What should I do?
Check that each line meets its required car count. Penalties also apply if TIMS-required lines still have legacy cars, or if platform door deadlines are missed. Use the Forecast tab to anticipate upcoming requirements and plan ahead.
Q. An aging alert appeared. What are my options?
You have three choices: ① Life Extension (pay to keep the car running), ② Retire (fleet count decreases), or ③ Defer (handle within the quarter — missing the deadline costs Rep −3).
Q. The app won't launch or keeps crashing.
